Direct Link To Product Checkout?

Is it possible to email somebody a direct link to an item so that when they click the link it takes me directly to the checkout process with just that one item in the cart?


I want to be able to create a small HTML page advertising a product...drive traffic to the page....and then have people buy the product by clicking a link at the bottom of the page going to a direct link.


Any help is appreciated!

I've achieved this.

PM me your regular e-mail address and I'll e-mail you an example promotion email where all the recipient need do is click a BUY NOW button.

Basically it can done by doing the following:

In your browser, go to the product info display page of the product in question.

View Page Source (to see the underlying HTML)

Copy all that HTML and put it into a GOOD HTML EDITOR (Dreamweaver).

Using careful edit techniques, remove all the page elements you don't want. Remember, this is the full page source, so it will behave EXACTLY the same as the page thrown at the browser by your regular shop, inheriting all the css, javascript, etc)

The most important section is the FORM, and you can clearly see the form start and form close commenting.
