I enabled the log, zipped the last one I have and tried to make it accessible following your instructions. I used the ftp that godaddy provides, it is at ballandskein.com/debug but I can not access it. I also tried uploading it using my Frontpage but was also unable to do it so that it can be accessed. May I email it to you?

Also, in the past few hours, the problem has changed. Zencart was previously able to send the payment request to PayPal where it went through the steps and then sent it back to Zencart's Confirmation page. Step 3. There it would ask for confirmation and then cycle back to the Zencart login page with the error message at the top. Now.. it doesn't get that far. Zencart sends it to paypal. Paypal goes through the login and then the confirm page. From there, when you click confirm, it gets stuck, it says it is wainting for ballandskein.com, then waoiting for paypal.com, but what happens is that it cycles back to the paypal login page. getting nowhere.

If I can send you my information off the public board, I would like to do that.
    Thanks,
    Judy

I just spent an hour with Godaddy. They are sure it isn't them.

    What version of Zen Cart?
If it's v1.3.7, did you ever install the PayPal patch? http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56216

Yes, it is vers. 1.3.7 and I installed the June 17th patch. Then I followed the rest of the instructions, uninstalled and reinstalled the modules.

I've tried it three more times. It is back to where it was earlier this afternoon. It goes from zencart to payapl, then the pp login, the next page to confirm the card then when you click the continue button it says it is waiting for ballandskein.com.. then it goes back to the paypal login. I am not getting error messages.

    I'm convinced it's a hosting problem.

Testing CURL communications seems to fail consistently:

    Trying Microsoft.com:
    without proxy:
    http://ballandskein.com/curltest.php....microsoft.com
    takes 12+ seconds to connect

    Trying PayPal without proxy:
    http://ballandskein.com/curltest.php?paypal=1
    28 connect() timed out!

    Trying PayPal with proxy:
    http://ballandskein.com/curltest.php...erver.net:3128
    28 SSL connection timeout

    Trying Authorize.net
    without proxy:
    http://ballandskein.com/curltest.php?authnet=1
    28 connect() timed out!

    with proxy:
    http://ballandskein.com/curltest.php...erver.net:3128
    28 SSL connection timeout

I have emailed your reply to a tech at GoDaddy. I will also phone them again.
    Thank you.

this is the response I recieved from GoDaddy advanced hosting support:
    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for contacting customer support.

We have put up a test script up to test cURL and proxy connections via the link:

    http://ballandskein.com/curl_test.php

While it does work, some of the pages do not parse correctly, it does prove that cURL and our proxy server is working.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

    Regards,

    Advanced Hosting Support
    Any ideas? I am nowhere.
