Thank you!

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
Try bookmarking the page (your store) with your browser ... IE requires you to bookmark it before it'll cache the favicon file on your PC.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes that is where I was reading.
Where do I find my "public_html" or "httpdocs" and what are the steps. I went into my public_html and added it there but still no favicon. So that is why I asked for steps.Create and place a favicon.ico file in the root (ie: "public_html" or "httpdocs" etc) directory of your web server
In MOST cases, that's all you need to do !!!
I'm sorry to be a pain.
What I meant to say is that I uploaded my favicon to public_html but didn't know where in those files it went, so I just clicked on public_html and uploaded in that area. I have also saved my site to my favorites as well.
Could this be the problem?
My favicon name is favicon.ico.png
Yes, if the file isn't named favicon.ico then it will not be recognized.

The favicon file format is quite specific.
The FAQ says:There are various software tools available for creating favicons. There are some handy freeware tools online. Some of the traditional graphics programs can create them too -- consult the online help of your favorite graphics program to see if it can save in the correct format or not.Note: the icon typically needs to be 16x16 px, and your graphics program needs to be able to generate .ico files suitable for this purpose.
There are other formats such as 32x32 etc which can be used as alternatives for various purposes. You can google for favicon to find more tips and tricks on generating these alternative formats.
