Display Category Images on Index Page

Hey all,

I'm having some difficulty in trying to display the category images on the home page. By default the product images are displayed.

Is there a way to display the category images, then on click, display all the items/images within that category.

admin > config > layoutsettings > Categories - Always Show on Main Page > set to "1"

I have the setting as you suggested but I am still seeing the product images rather than the category images.

Check the setting next to that one, "Main Page Opens with Category"... a value of 0 will show all categories, a category id # will show that one category. If it has no subcategories, its products will be displayed.
