I was surprised to find that the Date Available field does not keep products from going to the front end until they're actually available. It would be great for it to actually be a "scheduling" feature.

Maybe it's not working correctly on my site? Any experts where this is concerned? For example, my client wanted a product to not be available for order until midnight tonight. We thought that by setting the date available, we were limited when the product became available on the site.
