Were you able to fix this issue or did you just uninstall the FedEx module?

I un-installed it but after I got it to work. I just didn't like their prices and decided I only want to deal with one shipping place. Thanks for the help though.

help question Re: Problems with FedEx

I have an issue with FedEx also. I'm in the process of updating a shop to the current version. The original shop was 1.2.6 - FedEx is installed and "was" was working - now it is not. I installed the latest version of the module on the upgraded site and I'm getting the same error message. I'm getting the following message on the checkout_shipping page - "No data returned from Fedex, perhaps the Fedex site is down"

    Does anyone have an ideas?

The upgrade that I'm just finishing up is located at: Click Here

The old site is - located here

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I went back in and removed the meter number and also changed "Show List Rates" to true (trying different settings here) still nothing - getting the not connecting. Like I said it did work. As a matter of fact in doing my search in the forum for others with issues, I noted an old post of mine for this very account where I had an issue with FedEx charging much higher than the quoted rate due to package sizing - So I know it was working. It is not working on either site version which of course has two different version of the FedEx module.

I'm at a loss - the customer didn't realize that FedEx was not working until I discovered it, so I have no idea when it broke or why -

I dont have an account number with fedex. I dropship and they use fedex. Can I still use this mod?

    *edit*
Just entered number 1 for each "account" and "meter". Seems to work. Is this wrong?
    *edit*

    Thanks ,
    John
