Urgent help needed!!

This is probably something really stupid, but I cannot figure it out- and I am about to have lots and lots of ppl looking at the site!

I just added some new text to my index.php- posted a discount- but the "%" is not showing up.
it should look like "15% off" but it looks like this: "15Off"

what do i need to do?? I thought I had one on there before with no problem....

Not positive about this particular context, but % might be a reserved character that needs to be escaped to appear literally. Try \% and see what happens...

for 15% off

Yep, that was my other thought to try, but I didn't have the code for % at hand... good job!
