My admin search returning no results

I've looked around the forums and can't find any information that could give me a reason why my admin search is not working. Honestly, don't know when it stopped working or if there was a plugin installed that could have broken it.

Anyone have an idea of what a common problem would be?

I have over 2000 products and it's getting to be annoying to have to browse to find a product to edit.

What exactly happens when you try to search for something ?

Nothing catastrophic or unusual. Just doesn't show any results.

Although, I do have multiple sub categories in six (6) of the seven (7) main categories in my nav.

It shouldn't bother anything. We run this monthly (4000 items across 53 categories) with no side effects.

1) What version of zencart
2) are any debug files appearing in zencarts /cache file
3) In your server logs are there any messages appearing at the times you run these searches

Do you use Linked Products?

Your Products really sound like your import your Products and that they are all missing the master_categories_id and probably the products_price_sort_order ...
