    Default Integration with USPS/Stamps.com/Encidia

Is there a module that connects Zen Cart to USPS for first class shipping?

Is there a module that integrates with either stamps.com or encidia?

I am shipping only small packages under 1lb. Can someone in a similiar business recommend a shipping option/postage provider?

    Thank you

Zen cart connects to usps for shipping rates by default its part of the core,
go into your admin -> modules -> shipping and turn it on

as for stamps.comand endicia I heard mention of something way early this year bit I dont know if anything ever came of it

What about endicia or stamps.com? I've got a client who is wanting to integrate with them because of his use of a thermal printer. The usps click n ship doesn't support that.

Has anyone had any success integrating with either of these services on a level similar to the USPS click n ship auto-fill module?

Here's a link to the stamps.com SDK - I would LOVE IT if someone would write an interface!

I just finished looking at the stamps.com PDK and I'm very doubtful that there will ever be a module to interface with them.

I base this on their license agreement that contains terms like "trade secret", "non-disclosure", etc that just don't mesh will with GPL licensed software.

I'll see if I get feedback on my application, but I'd be surprised if this will ever happen without a major change on their part.

Oh, and there's software that has to be installed on the computer that will be using the PDK.

Their newest version now supports downloading XML. So you can retrieve your order from your website and batch ship them. I like the newly added feature of sending customers return labels via email.

Stamps.com Version 8.5 allows you the ability to import sales order data via XML or ODBC. The software also connects to many ecommerce marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, etc.

These new features are all part of our normal monthly subscription plan and includes SCAN forms and batch printing.

You can see some of the other features here:
    stamps.com/shipping/ecommerce/

To get instructions on uploading files via XML, go to
stamps.com/support and type in "XML". You should see a link to the PDF that has the XML specs.

Do you have any idea how we can export our orders as XML?
