    Default Can I put tell-a-friend on my product page?

    Hi,

    I'm trying to insall "Sidebox anywhere" addon to get tell_a_friend show on the product page, but sidebox anywhere has minimal documentation.

    One requirement is to change the path:

    require ("/path/to/zen/single_sidebox.php");

    I'm testing on localhost and might move it to the main server later, so i wanted to use a relative link.

    Thanks

    I've never done it on a local machine, I always do it on a sandbox site and move it later. Can't you use the same relative path you're using in your config files for the main ZC site?

    Um, tell-a-friend *already* shows on Zen Cart product pages.

    Don't just want a button, but a text (email) filed too like in sidebar (right col).

    My point was ... doesn't the "tell a friend" sidebox *already* appear on the product pages? ... with the email entry field?
    The logic for that sidebox actually intends for it to show *only* on the product info pages.

    Right, but I wanted it in this sequence:

    [Add to cart]

    add to wishlist+
    Tell a friend
    [email field]

    Okay.

    Then you'll have to pull the template pieces (basically the HTML form) from the tell-a-friend sidebox template and insert relevant portions into your customized product-info page template.

    Just tried that, but it takes me to the shopping card page.

    My php skills are low, can you please point me in the right direction.

    Thanks.

    I extracted the following form from right col:

    <form method="get" action="http://localhost/index.php?main_page=tell_a_friend" name="tell_a_friend">
    <input type="hidden" value="tell_a_friend" name="main_page"/>
    <input type="text" class="text" size="10" name="to_email_address"/>
    <input type="submit" style="width: 84px;" value="Tell a Friend" onmouseout="this.className='cssButton button_tell_a_friend'" onmouseover="this.className='cssButtonHover button_tell_a_friend button_tell_a_friendHover'" class="cssButton button_tell_a_friend"/>
    <input type="hidden" value="187" name="products_id"/>
    </form>

    and pasted it in tpl_product_info_display.php.

    Although It does display the text field and button fine, but on clicking submit, it takes me to the shopping cart page.

    I would appreciated any help.
