    Default 'renew' a product

Hey guys I've searched and found anything to answer my question. Could be I'm not looking for the right thing of course...

    here is the situation:

We have a product (download pdf not that it should make any difference to the problem) that has undergone some very heavy changes, The changes are big enough that I would like for the product to be treated as if it had just been released again so it appears in our selection of new products once more.

    Is that possible?

I tried changing the date available for the product to 'yesterday' but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick. I'd rather not change that date to 'tomorrow' and have the product unavailable for a day, likewise I'd rather not delete it and add it again as a new product as I've no idea how much or little that might screw up older orders.

    Thank you,

    Alan

You could use phpMyAdmin and alter the "date_added" value for that product to the date you desire.

Worked like a charm, thank you.

I didn't want to poke around in the database without knowing what I was doing first so that was great.

    Cheerio for now,

    Alan
