Default Shipping carrier by product category

I would like to configure ZC to be able to ship one product category by UPS and all others by USPS. The category that must be shipped by UPS is prohibited from shipment with the USPS and is usually heavier.

Can this be done with zones, tables or an existing shipping module?

    Thanks, Ray

Default Re: Shipping carrier by product category

If ALL Products are in 1 Category for USPS and ALL Products are in another Category for UPS ... does this mean that ALL master_categories_id for these Products match in the products table?

If so, you could use a test to make sure that the cart matches and turn off one or the other shipping module ...

If a mixed cart of both Categories can be shipped by UPS then you can customize the USPS module to know when to turn off based on the master_categories_id ...
