Space on the header only on internet explorer

I have used free template RED PASSION
and correcting internal links from http://stufe.com to http://www.estufe.com
and afer thsi work, I have see that with internet explorer I have a big space on the bottom of header, instead on firefox is all roght.
Where I must put hands about it? I have done something wrong, or probably this was just havign this bug?

Did you fix this, I do not see the white space you speak of in IE7?

Hi Rufus,

I am forever grateful for your help previously. Seeing this string I am curious about the space issues with IE as well. I have the exact same problem. My header looks great in Firefox and Safari, but in IE 5 I have annoying spaces and in IE 7, the entire header either overlaps, or is to the right when it should be underneath my logo and the css flyout navigation bar. It's crazy. IE is giving me a major headache. Is there some alignment issue that maybe the IE over-rides could fix? The spaces too are also annoying. If you have any insight on this could you let me know? If you need me to send you the URL again, I can PM to you.

the space is about 1-2 cm over the big sentence:
Più di 2000 STUFE al prezzo migliore!

Hi Matteo,

The space is being caused by your tagline the way you have this layed out you would need to position it using absolute to make it display as you wish. An easier option would be to remove it completly and add Più di 2000 STUFE al prezzo migliore! to the background image although this isn't as good accessibility wise...
