Product Images - Column/Image count

#1: When a user selects a category on the left hand menu, I want my products to show up in 4 columns and multiple rows. Right now, all the products are showing up in 1 column. I tried finding this setting in admin panel, but its nowwhere to be found. I can find settings for "new products", and "featured products" but thats about it.

I was thinking of making a PHP function that counts the current picture and either inserts a <TD> or <TR>. Is there a better way to do this?


#2: I would like 2 product images. Since my client is a photographer, he would like 1 preview image that loads quick and easy. These images would display on the main page. The second image, would be a 640 x 480 image that the user could look at up close.
