Shipping Module - how do I do per weight unit?

Hello,

I'm wanting to set up individual shipping charges per item and per the tutorial I turned on the Per-Unit (perweightunit) shipping module and turned off the weight display everywhere else. After entering the shipping cost as the product "weight", however it is still being listed as lbs at checkout and calculating it as such. Can't figure out what is wrong.................

Display is display ... turn off the text for lb or lbs or turn off the display for this information if it appears irrelevant ...

Where do you still see the weight?

At checkout this is what is displayed: Total Items: 1 Weight: 19.5lbs Amount: $450.00

Then at the shipping method inquiry portion the shipping rate to the US is listed as $8.50 rather than $19.50.

Also, I need separate shipping rates per item for International customers and Canadian customers how do I set this up?

Make sure the weight is off on the Configuration ... Stock ...

Shopping Cart - Show Totals
Show Totals Above Shopping Cart?
0= off
1= on: Items Weight Amount
2= on: Items Weight Amount, but no weight when 0
3= on: Items Amount

What is the unit setting on the Shipping Module for the Per Unit perweightunit module set to?

What are the TARE settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

Remember, weight is now a shipping charge so anything that alters weight, such as the TARE settings will alter the shipping charge ...

For making Per Unit perweightunit shipping modules for different zones, you need to clone the Per Unit perweightunit shipping module to something like:
perweightunit to perweightunitcad
PERWEIGHTUNIT to PERWEIGHTUNITCAD

perweightunit to perweightunitint
PERWEIGHTUNIT to PERWEIGHTUNITINT

Now create the Zones for these 3 shipping modules ...

The weight is no longer listed at checkout, but still getting $8.50 rather than $19.50 for US shipping charge

Do you mean:

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight
What is the weight of typical packaging of small to medium packages?
Example: 10% + 1lb 10:1
10% + 0lbs 10:0
0% + 5lbs 0:5
0% + 0lbs 0:0

is set to 0:0 ...

And that;

Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight
What is the weight of typical packaging for Large packages?
Example: 10% + 1lb 10:1
10% + 0lbs 10:0
0% + 5lbs 0:5
0% + 0lbs 0:0

is also set to 0:0 ...

Could you go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and see specifically which Shipping Modules are Installed ... and if not being used, REMOVE or Uninstall them ... and make sure that if using Sort Orders that you have no duplicates and that any that you are using actually are marked ENABLED and that they do not have Zones on them unless necessary?

You said you were working with Per Unit perweightunit but I see Zone Rate zones and Store Pickup storepickup installed ...
