What have I done wrong?

Hi,

I added new pages - all ok. Then I added another final page in the information section of my site and all went wrong (pages added the same way as the 'about us' page through the download on this site.

1) The table in 'ie' is now over to the left (firefox shows it centered) and I want it centered. (as it was before)

2) Also the font sizes have all gone bigger. I just wanted them as is in red passion template (small - size 10ish).

3)+ Obviously I dont want the text at the top.

what have I accidentally done wrong? How can I put it back to how it was??

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated - thanks

Not sure how you did it but your "ABOUT US Sample Text ..." and paragraph text, is outside the page coding. I suggest you upload the original files of the ones you replaced, starting with the last one first.

Once you get rid of the "ABOUT US Sample Text ..." and the page displays correctly, you can then work on other cusomizing.

Also,

as far as I am aware I have only over copied one file and I tried putting this back the way it was but nothing happened.

I have added pages.

Did it before about 8 times and all ok

Update -

Just went through all the files which you add/replace when adding another page and replaced them with the original.

Hasn't sorted the problem.

Its really annoying as I feel it is a silly mistake I have made and wouldnt take much to put right. Just dont understand why the text has gone big???

Guessing that if I get rid of the top text (about us) that everything else will fall into place...

A good habit to get into, at least with Zen Cart, is using:
Admin > Tools > Developers Tool Kit

The last input box: Look-up in all files in the "Key or Name:", enter information from a page you see the information on.
In the next input box "All Files Look-ups:" choose - All files - Catalog/Admin. Then use the "Search" button.
File locations will be shown where the text/code is and you will know where to start fixing/customizing code.


In this case, the text on your page is telling you where the file is:
/includes/languages/english/MYTEMPLATE/about_us.php

So you would look in:
/includes/languages/english/red_passion/about_us.php

Delete that file altogether and the default page will be used, presuming you have deleted it. Then see what happens.
