What kind of PayPal account do you have?
    Is it:
    - PayPal 2.0 ? (which uses Payflow communication method, and also shares a regular PayPal account)
    - Payflow Pro? (which has no link to a regular PayPal account)
    - Website Payments Pro?

Are you in US or UK?

I am in the US and I use payflowpro-1.3c3-paypal mod. I am only accepting credit cards, not paypal. I installed Zen-Cart, March-07, that is when I also signed up for payflow.

Installation of the module should be the same as when you originally installed it.

Does 1.3.8 have website payment pro or the proflow 2.0? I currently have the proflow 2.0 module installed and would like to use the website payment pro? Supposedly the shipping button works after a payment has been made when using WPP--it doesn't in proflow 2.0 module.
    Thanks!

Zen Cart v1.3.8 has Website Payments Pro, which also works with PayPal 2.0.

There's no such product as proflow as far as I know.

    Will you continue supporting Payflow?

By the way what is the best way of testing the payment module on my upgraded system? My test system is on my local machine. On my production server I have zen-cart in a catalog directory, is it a good idea to install it in another directory and test it that way?

Testing on a local machine can be troublesome sometimes, esp when external systems want to "post back" to a valid URL to reach your test server.

So, yes, set up a store in another folder+database on a live webserver, and do your tests from there.
