I've stumbled upon another issue.

I name my product pictures the part #. One part is say 1234A, so the picture name is 1234A.gif. Well another part # is 1234A-2. On the 1234A product page below it appears 1234A-2 pic as well. Not only that, but once clicked the picture tries to load and never does.

As I said in the PM this isn't anything to do with slimbox, it is a consequence of how the zencart core handles images https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=58

You need to rename your images to deal with this.

Personally I think the way that images should be handled is that there should be an image database containing links to all the product images. There should only be one size of each image. Then there should be another table listing which images are used by which products along with a sort order.

Smaller images should be generated and cached by a helper application like phpthumb. At the moment it is a bit of a mess.

Sounds like a javascript error, what version of ZC do you have? What Mods, What Template?

BTW, is there any way to make the prev - next on the 2 sides of the images more obvious? For now it cant be seen unless you hover your mouse on it.

I've fixed the js bug, cheers. But havent uploaded a new version yet, will do if I make any more changes, it is pretty minor.

As for the previous next, I know what you mean, it isn't obvious. When I first saw it I thought it was broken! The thing is I like the hover effect, but I don't like the fact that it isnt obvious; plus the fact that it doesn't work in IE6 is a pain. That is how the original author had it, so I didn't want to mess too much.

If you have any suggestions for how to keep the hover, but make it more obvious I would like to hear them. Alternatively, the uncompressed code is included so you could have a play with the js yourself, it is fairly basic stuff.

I indeed played with this a bit b4. What I did was to place a Previous and Next link at the bottom left and right. They fit in nicely.

BTW, I run into some weird problem with IE7, sent you PM.
