Item number on order, invoice & packing list

New Zenner can't find product's item number on Order, Invoice or Packing Slip.

Also can't find any way in admin to cause item number to be included.

Model number is included on order, invoice and packing slip but not item #.

HOW DO I GET THE ITEM NUMBER TO DISPLAY On Order, Invoice and Packing Slip?



I am talking about he ZenCart Item # that is automatically assigned upon creation of a new listing.

You could display that using:
$order->products[$i]['id']

NOTE: there are no overrides in the /admin so you should save your original file(s) and copies of your change file(s) for future reference ...

HI Ajeh,

I went to /public_html/admin/invoice.php and changed all $order->products[$i] to: $order->products[$i]['id'] but now the invoice gives an error message:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home1/wardrob2/public_html/admin/invoice.php on line 351

What did I do wrong and how can I fix this?

You don't want to change those, you just need to add the $order->products[$i]['id'] to the display around line 171 ...

Put the file back to how it was and try this change to see the products_id show ...
