Text layout issues

Hi all,

I am hoping someone might be able to help out here. On my index page where the monthly specials are listed (see picture below). This is perfect and exactly how i want it.



Problem is that on every other page such as Products All, Specials, and Products New it appears like the following with the description text all in one line




Can anyone point me as to where I can modify this??

You have a Template Monster template, so modifying this may be more difficult than usual.

Ordinarily, I would suggest the method given in the Matching product_info_display and product_listing thread. This may or may not work, depending on exactly how TM has built this template. They are known for mangling standard functions and methods.

You have the text coded with <br /> tags, so it shows correctly in the product info page (single product's details) and in the custom-made TM version of the specials page.
The product listing page is still the default Zen Cart arrangement, which strips HTML coding out of the text. That is what I was referring to above. You need to do that fix to get the listing page to show the same as the info page. Until you do that, making the code a <ul> list will not help.

Hi glenn...thanks again for your help.

I just want to make sure we are on the same page here.....my problem is that the way the listing shows on all the pages including products_all, products_new and specials is not how I want it. the description runs like this

- Elegant design, smooth, soft and shiny fabric gives the bikini a distinguishing look - Detachable strap on the top - Made in Brazil - Comes with Ziplock Bag

How I want all of the descriptions in the above mentioned pages is how the specials are displyed on the MAIN INDEX page where it can show "Monthly Specials for December" and only on this page it shows like this

- Gorgeous floral print, beautiful hand-painted fabric
- Bright and ######## summer look bikini
- Made in Brazil
- Comes with Ziplock Bag

So I am guessing that it must pull the formating for the specials from two different sources.....one for the actual SPECIALS page and another for when the specials are displayed on the INDEX page.

For whatever reason, the text layout problem is within the Theme used or the coding used when you created the Product Description.

index.php?main_page=index [correct]

Also, is it common for Aussies to use an "f" instead of "ph"?

Mate! I fixed it! Couldnt have done it without your help though....you pointed me in the right direction...basically I found in tpl_modules_products_all_listing.php

$disp_text = zen_clean_html($disp_text);

And removed it....now its exactly as I want:)

Will do it for the other pages too:)
