item priced by attributes on special

Hi All,

I am trying to put an item that is priced by attributes on special.

The item has two attributes med and large.
The med is 34.99
The lrg is 36.99

The special price for the med is 24.99.
the special price for the lrg is 26.99.

What is the best way to do this? I want to use specials so this (and the other products) show up on my specials page. *It is a 3 day special starting tomorrow. Yikes. So if anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.... quickly. :-)

I don't think specials will help you unless it's a set percentage. You can use a percentage discount, but it might not give you exactly what you're looking for. (You can set a price, but it won't help you because you price by attributes.)

Might want to use Coupons and set it just for that product only, then post it on your front page. Then you can use Featured and post it as a Featured product. Plus you can edit the product's description to post the coupon code in it too.

I could be wrong. *LOL* If I am, someone will correct me or offer a better solution.

Hi Mad,

What I ended up doing was creating duplicate products and setting their prices at the sale price. Not ideal because now I have to put a link directing people to the sale items. A lot of work for just a short sale.

I will see if I can do this using a stock by attributes contrib or something similar...
