Default Main site to look like Shopping Cart

    Hey everyone!

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section but here I go.

I'm currently making a site for a tuning company which is located here:

    www.fortunex.net/vrp

I want my Zen Cart to look exactly like the site I created which means:

    1) The navigation header bar at www.fortunex.net/vrp
    2) The mini navigation footer at www.fortunex.net/vrp

Things I'd like to move around:
    1) The "Home Log In Shopping Cart etc." header to below the breadcrumb. Is that possible?
    2) The currencies and search box also below the breadcrumb.
    3) The breadcrumb's background color is not expanded all the way. How could I change this?

I've done what I can with making the cart look similar to the site I created with the help of this forum and I greatly appreciate all the support that has been offered here to me and as well as other members.

Let me know what you guys think

    Thanks!

The work you've done on the VRP site looks good. There's no reason why your Zen Cart shouldn't look exactly the same, you just need to get the hang of picking up the bits of php that generate the elements you want to move and plonking them down again where you want them.

So that would mean for example, taking the navigation links out of the header and putting them into the main_page file, below the breadcrumbs.

You can extend the background color for the breadcrumbs by attaching it to the div that contains them and giving that div a width of 100% (though I'm a bit surprised as I though it already had that).

I figured it was something as simple as copying and pasting code into different places. It's just the complexity of finding the bits of php lol. Although the Lookup feature in the developers kit has helped greatly. I'll keep looking around for the things I need within the lookup tool. Thanks for the quick reply! Any ideas on how to get the footer on my site to look like the cart? (the big white box at the bottom)

Add the links to your tpl_footer.php file then use the stylesheet to give it a height and white background color.

    I have another question..

How do I make it so that the breadcrumb and the navigation under the breadcrumb (Login) show on other pages but not on the index?

Breadcrumbs: Admin panel, Configuration --> Layout Settings --> Define Breadcrumb Status.

As for the other, not sure what navigation you're referring to without an image. Went to the link you gave and didn't see that?
