Make sure that your image directories are chmod 777.

If you are installing click the re-check button.

We all try to run before we can walk. I think Merlin said that in another post.

Do yourself a favor and use an FTP application. It is much faster and easier than going online to your Host and fumbling with their pages.

Listen to Kim, she is wise. Read over the tutorials and FAQ's.

Don't get in a huff... we see the same mistakes being made so many times that sometimes we get curt rather than explain the situation in full. It would be a shame to abandon the forum just because you took offense at your reading of one person's tone.

The FAQ was put into place so that I can point you to already written answers to your questions rather than re-write the same thing again, and again...and again. You shouldn't take offense. On a free, all-volunteer forum there isn't enough time to hold your hand, its our hope to enable you to help yourself. If you have tried to work through the FAQ and just can't seem to get the language or the logic behind something asking for help to explain it is appropriate. People on this forum are willing to hold your hand but only after they are sure you've done your homework, otherwise we might as well do it for you and send you the bill.
