removing footer image / changing footer image

how do i do this? i have tried altering the css but it wont change the image, what file do i need to alter? i cannot follow it from the index.php file at all. its quite hard to decipher the pathway to theh correct file. any help in this will be great

Since you can see your site, you know what you are talking about, but we don't. Might you be referring to the banner that appears at the bottom of the page in a default installation of Zen Cart, or are you using a template where the author has added a image? Do you have a link to your site?

http://www.inperspectiverecords.com/inpshop/ is the link to my site. atm i have just turned it off in the css. i cant find the actual file where the img code is. what i would dearly love to do is change the image to one that suits my requirements. any help on this please?

Still unable to help as the site is password protected and you still haven't given any clues as to what template you are using, or what image your are referring to.

i am using the classic template. the one that comes with zen cart. also trryin to get in contact with the admin guy.

Admin>tools>banner manager to turn off the banners

i dont want to turn off the banners. i want to change them. i want to put my own banners there instead

You manage the banners in the same location in the admin.....look at how the current banners are set up....

ahhhh, i get it. i can make my own banners to the size that i want. then upload it into the banners area (whereever i decide really) then choose it from the banner manager. i get the logic. so i dont really need to know where the hard coded img tags are as i can use the banner manager to pull in what banners i actually want.

please confirm that this is the case......or not

yup you got it. Also remember you can put banners in unique group by using the group name. You can create whatever group names you want. Then you set what groups to show in what banner position in admin>configuration>layout settings in the banner display groups section.
