I have installed this Single Listing Template mod. but seem to have an error or two.
Firstly, I had previously implemented the columnar display mod. and it has been working fine. Also, I thoroughly reviewed this SLT mod., compared the files with my current files, using Beyond Compare and I believe I understand it well. I am using v 1.3.7.1 with various upgrades, but none that should effect this one.
Also, I have set debug to True.

Is it possible that there is a missing function define?

Here are the errors I get.

New Products Listing:

then requires tpl_modules_listing_display_order.php

The function is a standard one located here:

/includes/functions/functions_categories.php

Line #591 : function zen_get_generated_category_path_rev($this_categories_id)

However it does get used by the extra function file that comes with this mod, maybe that has not uploaded cleanly?

From what you said, i found that my functions_categories.php did not have that function defined. I uploaded the one from Zen v. 1.3.9e, as I could see that there were additional functions and modifications to existing functions in it. After doing that all appears to work!.

A question:
Do you know if there should be any adverse effects to upgrading to functions_categories.php from v.1.3.9e (My Zen is v.1.3.7.1 generally).
(My hunch is that it includes more functions and better definitions of existing ones, so it might be ok). Do you know for certain either way?

the module is for ZC 1.3.8 or 1.3.9. Please upgrade your cart and re-install. or try to manually make the changes to your older cart using the instructions at the beginning of this thread. I highly recommend a cart upgrade though.

OK good point, Mine is v1.3.7.1
Upgrading seems like a mammoth task though, since there are so many customizations and overrides. I cannot imagine how long it would take.
I only upgraded the functions_categories.php from v 1.3.9e and it seems to be working fine now. hopefully, that will do it.

while upgrading may be a bit of a pain, it's very important to do so. your site is vulnerable to hacking attempts, and keeping upgraded to the latest version will help improve security and fix bugs.

To make the task easier, I suggest using Win-Merge: http://winmerge.org/downloads/
You can compare your current site with the new version to see exactly which files changed.

I would like to be able to sort product listing by model, new to old, price etc.
This works fine with Specials, New and Featured listings but not with Category Listing.

Is there a way to have this display order function work for Category Listings?

I notice that tpl_index_product_list.php does not require tpl_modules_listing_display_order.php, whereas tpl_products_new_default.php
does.
