Removing "Home" and "Login" from header.

First I would like to say hello to everyone as this is my first time using this forum and zen-cart!!

I have tried searching and looked in google and cant seem to find the solution. "could be down to me not using the correct search technique"

I am trying to remove the " HOME and Login" links at the top above my banner. and also remove the blue bar going across.

Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

You would remove the navMainWrapper div and it's contents from your template's common/tpl_header.php file.

But beware, this isn't just home and login. Other links are added dynamically as appropriate such as shopping cart, my account and log off.

If i remove that. Will it remove both Home and login / logoff etc and also the Blue bar running along the top?

As you stated , removing it could cause me problems. Could I include a sidebox with login/home etc to solve that problem?

I'm a bit puzzled since you're using the classic template, but that blue bar isn't standard in the template, so didn't you add it?

Anyway, that styling goes along with the box, so should go away if you remove it.

The links, not just home and logion, that get removed with that bar can be moved to a sidebox. If you grab the blank sidebox mod from the downloads area, you will be able to rework the code that generates those links to operate in that sidebox.

I would be interested in doing this as well. How would one go about reworking the code to change this?
