Is Zencart compatible with PayPal Website Payments Pro UK?

According to paypal it is compatible with Website Payments Pro US:

but it is not listed in their UK section:

Does anyone know is there a big difference between US and UK versions?

Yes, it's compatible with US and UK. Their site hasn't been updated yet, probably because they're waiting on me for some information ...

As for differences:
a) the US mode must be used for US merchants, and the UK mode must be used by UK merchants.

b) some of the authentication credentials are different with respect to setup depending on which mode you will run it in.

Im also looking at setting up Website Payments Pro UK but im a little confused as to why we seem to need Payflow details to enable this. I cant find any reference to it on the UK paypal site.

Is Payflow and Website Payments Pro combined in some way ? or do I need to open accounts with both? Im just a little confused as so far nothing I have read about Website Payments Pro UK has refered to Paylow.

maybe im missing something simple

PayPal UK uses the Payflow engine for processing transactions. When you sign up for a UK Website Payments Pro account, you'll be given a set of credentials which include a combination of User/Vendor/Partner/Password ... which are basically the Payflow tokens. You'll use those in your Zen Cart module after setting it to UK mode and filling in the Payflow details.

PayPal Support can clarify how the Payflow transaction data for received payments integrates with your regular PayPal account for you.
