    Default Checkout Error code 10413....

    10413 Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional
    error messages for details. - The totals of the cart item amounts do not
    match order amounts. (18) transfer closed with -1 bytes remaining to read

    What the heck does that mean? It's happened 2x today to customers trying to pay by CC through Express Checkout.

    What version of Zen Cart? if 1.3.7, have you applied the PayPal patches?
    Who is your hosting company?
    What version of PHP?

    I got same error code from one customer today. I'm using Zen Cart version 1.3.8a, hosting company 2mHost.com, PHP version 5.2.4. Any idea what could be the problem??

    Okay, if it's saying that the totals of items and summaries on the order don't add up, it's important to look at what those details were.
    Were they using some sort of non-standard shipping option? or a coupon? or a gift certificate? or some custom discount addon?
    Which products were in the cart? Were there attributes associated with those products? Were there any special pricing options set on those attributes, such as qty discounts or one-time charges or word/letter charges, etc?

    Can you replicate the problem on-demand?
    If so, turn on debug logging in your paypal module and post the various log files it generates.

    I've installed PayPal today, and got the same error code (10413). I (think) I installed everything correctly...
    I wil PM you the error logs, since I don't know if there will be any delicate info in there...

    I am getting the same error. To me it seems like zencart is sending through the total to PayPal before it is adding the freight hence the diffence in totals. I may be completely wrong though. I am not a programer

    Anybody had any luck my sales have dropped off not being able to offer PayPal. Any help would be appreciated

    Ok Dr Byte

    It happens with every sale i can make it happen on demand I set up email & log alert and it sent me 44 emails. Im sure you dont want them all.
    The products were for a standard item no atributes or coupons were used.

    This is the error report
    10413 Transation refused because of invalid argument. See additional error messages for details. The total of the cart items amounts do not match order amounts.

    Like I said earlier when you are in the transaction you have bought a product you then hit express checkout and it takes you to PayPal before you have seen the freight componient.
