Images in Newsletter not appearing

Evening! I'm sending a newsletter and thought I was making it easy on myself by using Illustrator to create everything I want to say and saving it as a .jpg. So...my entire Newsletter is just one .jpg. (not too big so it's not a file size) When I send a test one to myself the newsletter is just blank. Now...I've used html and I load the picture by telling it to find it at http://www.Dittanybaby.com/fitpregnancy.jpg and it previews and loads fine but does not send. Any ideas?

oh just to add...this is not going to any hotmail or yahoo account. I am trying to view it via outlook express

Check your admin > config > email options > Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails > true
and other settings and that your account is set to receive mail in html...

you might consider this as not all customers can or do receive mail as html

Thanks for your reply. I will put a text only but at this time I was testing the image. I have checked all of those settings and they are fine. All of my other email templates with images work normally. For example the logo in my create account email etc
