changing my site back to 'normal'

Hi, is there an easy to change my site back to normal after a web designer customized it? I just want to keep my site in tact, but my designer created the boxes and size dimensions, and background, so now I have to go through him every time I want to add a sidebox (although I asked him to leave me with complete control over it after he was done setting it up).

Can I just change it back to the original template? And from that original template, it will let me upload backgrounds and sideboxes wherever I want, correct?

if you have access to your Admin> Tools> Template Selection, choose Classic and that will change the shop back to the green stock template.
