2.9.6 is the latest for php4
If you have php5, then 3+ version can be used

After upgrading, please make sure you clear cache.
If you are upgrading to 3+, please read the doc carefully.

I had a typo there, please go to your admin->configuration->ssu settings->exclude query and change "glid" to "gclid"

This will be updated in the next version as well.

I installed 3.4.5 and followed the install directions to the letter I believe.

Now, with SSU turned on the simple URLS show but they do not link to anything on my site. I have it turned off as of now.

It's hard to know what's going on based on your description. What do you mean by not linking to anything on your site? What kind of links are shown? What errors you get?

Be more specific, always be very specific when you report a problem. What you are doing is similar to saying: help, my computer doesnt run.

You are right and I should know better to be specific.
With SSU turned on, clicking on anything would just return me to the index page.
Turned out to be an .htaccess error on my part.
BTW - this version fixed my previous problem with Add to Cart from a search result.

Thank you, now I know why ^_^. I will release a fix for that soon.
It's looking for page title with language id 2, so obviously it will not find any.

I have been playing with that multilanguage mod for ezpages but it gave me way too much trouble in my tests. I think it doesn't like that i only use one language which isn't the default, but i'm not sure.

Anyway, i changed the language id's to 2 and set the table to choose default language id 2 for new pages.

Now the ssu is translating those as we like it
So for me it is fixed now, cheers...

I tried installing Easy Seo Url tonight and it turned into a disaster movie and i had to use my backup files. This meant i lost recent changes including the ditching of the telephone required section of the login pages and worse yet my admin section now redirects to my stores login page.

I have looked at all the usual files such as the configure.php files and checked my sites .htaccess files and cannot see any problems.

Could there be an issue with the actual mysql database or is there a .htaccess file somewhere in the store causing a re-direct. I don't want to give out the stores admin login page for security reasons but i am wondering if anyone can help with this major issue i am having.

I am sure the admin section exists it is just re-directing itself to the stores login page and i don't know why ?
