I have the same problem when more than one word is typed into the search box, then customer tries to buy the product and gets a redirect error.

Customer is currently trying to type "jolly mah" in search box and buy the last of the 3 products returned, however, Ive noticed that none of the returned products can be added to cart.

Unfortunately the given solution doesnt correct the problem for me.

Hi, on start I'm sorry for my not so good english ;)

I have zen-cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8 and installed Simple SEO URL 3.5.8.
When I go to Simple SEO URL Manager is error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'TYPE=MyISAM' at line 1
in:
[CREATE TABLE links_aliases ( id int(10) NOT NULL auto_increment, link_url varchar(255) NOT NULL, link_alias varchar(255) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (id), UNIQUE KEY link_url (link_url) ) TYPE=MyISAM;]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Everything else is working good.

Currently using zen cart 1.3.9g. Just wanted to say that this is a great mod. My question is I installed a mobile template on my test site with the latest simple seo installed. With SSU disable, my mobile template works correctly. With SSU enable, my test site will redirect you to the mobile template on the main page. The main page works but once you have clicked on lets say a category link then it takes you back to a pc template. I realize that the problem is that SSU changes the url which is what this mod is supposed to do, but my mobile template won't work with the url changes. Is there a way to disable SSU if my site was access from hand-held devices.Thanks in advance.

I would like to install a URL rewriter to my site.

Have attempted Simple SEO URL, but I am fairly sure I haven't done it correctly.

I am not sure whether it is good forum etiquette, to append my new query onto a thread like this, but I really am in need of some guidance on installation.

If anyone has completed an installation of SSU and is successfulyy getting it to rewrite their urls, I would be very grateful if they can tell me very simply what I'm doing wrong or not doing to get it working.

Update to version 3.8.8 Your cache will not be half as big and with some bug fixes as well.
You can get 3.8.8 from here

You will need to update Module Manager to it's latest version if you haven't done that yet. On the new version of Simple Seo 3.8.8 the old Module Manger will not work.

Then read and follow the ssu installation
You should be fine after that.

1. Installed everything properly I think..
2. A. Didn't have a .htaccess file so just cp given into place.


We're "NOT using Zencart 1.3.8a" so replaced includes/functions/html_output.php with the saved version. That could have been mentioned earlier...
edited the includes/functions/html_output.php at the function zen_href_link.


Checked path/to/cache is properly set in admin/includes/configure.php and includes/configure.php

Set path/to/cache/ chmod -R 777 ssu

There are no subfolders present, just a .htaccess file.
Is that a clue?

Goto admin > tools > Module Manager:

List all modules:

Hi
i've been using simple SEO for a while - thanks for a great mod.

However it seems to be effecting another issue im having with my zen.

I cant use the function in admin/config 'skip one prod categories'

if i disable simple SEO this function works.
if i turn on Simple SEO it dosent.

Can someone tell me why and if there's a fix/workaround, i would really like to use both.
