1. Visit admin→extras→ssu manager (you should see notice saying that the database patches have been applied)

2. Under admin->confuration you should see Simple Seo Url


You will see the settings there

in extras I see
Instruction SSU caches your categories/products names and links in order to reduce the number of sql queries and minimize the performance penalty on your server. That has its drawback, however. If you change your categories/products names, you will need to reset the cache to force SSU reload and update the names. Cache Functions Reset all cache: Click here

To turn SSU on:
Set SSU Status to True

Make sure you change other settings first if you want to, before you turn it on. Which version are you using? If you use 3.6.0 then turn on Link Alias and Auto Alias as well

For whatever reason, your server setting makes it impossible to run any query via the patch tool if there is a line break in the query, so I had to remove them from all the patches,

Note that you are using 3.5.8, that version is stable but does not have auto-alias.

Thanks a MILLION it works now. So if I am correct I can install SSU on another website on my particular server by first
1.changing the line in /includes/classes/sqlpatch_class.php to
if (!defined('DB_PREFIX')) define('DB_PREFIX','zen_');
2.editing the patches as described above
3.upload and turn on SSU in admin

I presume i do not have to worry about manually updating the tracker table anymore?

I have edited all patches in version 3.5.8+ (make sure you download from the link in my signature) so you dont have to edit the patches again. You may have to edit the sqlpatch_class.php tho

You will have to put the main page of your wordpress to the exclude page list.

You are welcome. The reason is that this WP module install wordpress as a subfolder of zencart.

Another thing you can do, which you may like better, is to use link alias to get around it
For example if you are having wp in folder 'wordpress", then you can consider creating a link-alias pair like this:
link_url: /wordpress/
link_alias: /blog/

I can't seem to get the alias to work for "blog". I have everything set up in your mod, then reset the alias cache but still no luck.

All of my wordpress urls continue to have "wordpress" in it.
