hosting with shared ssl on different server
My web site is on a linux server but the ssl is a shared ssl server where I have a 10 meg folder.
So I install the site on the normal hosting server and what do I put on the ssl server?
I have tried other carts and they fail because the provider says you need the whole of the shop on the ssl and you cannot mix it but not enough space.
Can anybody help I am using Fasthosts servers if that helps.
I need this info so I can get my new zen cart installed.
can anybody help?
Re: hosting with shared ssl on different server
Sorry, fasthosts doesn't seem to see that they're losing business due to their unconventional setup.
It's simple ... don't use them if you want a smooth-running site that has SSL capability.
There are lots of other posts around here about the headaches of Fasthosts vs SSL.
