Flat Rate - but variable in some instances
If my customers order over a certain amount they can get free standard shipping, but if they want to they can pay a fee and have either first class for £1.00 or recorded delivery for £2.00. This has been easy enough to set up with clones of FlatRate.
If they don't order over that qualifying amount, they get charged £1.00 for standard shipping. What I'm trying to achieve is if their order would attract that charge, then the charges for first class and recorded delivery both increase by £1.00. Otherwise, they can select an option for first class delivery at the same price as standard delivery, which means I lose money.
As I said, I've got so far with clones of FlatRate but I'm not sure where to go from here. I possibly need to add some code that compares the order value and adjusts the postage values accordingly but I wouldn't have the foggiest of how to write it or where to put it.
Any help anyone can offer is most greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Flat Rate - but variable in some instances
Solved it, by cloning FreeRules instead and having two options for each.
