Easy Populate question

I have everything installed and so far everything is working great! I will be using easy populate to upload my new inventory listing but since I already have products on the site, will easy populate overwrite product numbers that are the same or just make two listing for the same product? I am hoping it just over writes but I wanted to double check in the event I need to delete all the old products.

Having just started using this, I was pleased to learn that as long as the MODEL NUMBER is the same (they have to be unique) - it will update an existing product.

Which is great for a quick update to a description or stock etc.
