Thank you I know that is where I go to change my banners but I DO NOT want any banners to show up in that sponsors box how do I remove the banners and add my own content
Sorry thanks
Angie
THERE'S NOT NEED TO SHOUT. I'm not deaf (or stupid).
The sponsors boix is designed for banners. If you don't want to use your own banner, turn it off and create your own sidebox instead. You might want to use the blank sidebox or editable sidebox mods as a starting point.

First, all of the folks here are volunteers and can choose to answer or not answer your questions.
Second, typing in caps is considered shouting, whether you intended to shout or not.
Third, Kuroi answered the question as it was written and it is not his fault you mis-stated your needs.
We all get a bit cranky sometimes and being curt is not going to help the situation. Please calm down. Thanks.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
I totally understand you are volunteers and I do appreciate all the help more than you know! I just was surprised that I came in to ask a question and get guidance to get such a rude response
Thank you for help I do truly appreciate all the help

I am having a similar problem with the side box. I want to put my own logo in it with a link to another website. Right now the banner is set up with an image of the Zen Users guide book and a link to their site.
I tried to follow the advice in the dialogue above in going to the banner section of the admin to edit the banner. What really confused me was that I could not find any banner for "sponsors" so I just looked at all of them and found one listed that says "eStart Your Webstore with Zen Cart(tm)" in the Side-Box-Banners" Group. When I opened that to edit it, I found the file tall-book.gif. That is the image that appears inthe sponsor's box on the left side that I am trying to change.
I'm really, really, really new at this, so please excuse the stupid question, but if I open and edit that area, add my own image, and then add my own YRL to replace the one in the Banner URL Box will that change what is displayed and route it to the other site I want it to?
(Theoretically, in a perfect world?)
Again, please excuse what may seem like a trivial question, but I really don't want to muck this up...
Also I thought it might help others if I'm right
Theoretically, what you said should work. Try it and see for yourself.

I tried it and it actually worked.
I also discovered the hard way that all those items in the side boxes are in the banners section so if one tries to find them by searching files you'll spend a lot of time looking.
For waht it is worth, the technique someone recommended that worked is:
1. Open the catalogue and right click on the image you want to change then slect properties and write down the file name.
2. Go to the Banners area and open the stock entries one at a time to find the matching file.
3. Select the option to upload the new banner, being sure to add /banners to the location box of where they are uploaded to.
Lots of trial and error, but once I did it it worked!
Thanks again for the help
