How to delay a download?

I set up my bands CD to be downloaded through our site. A girl preordered it (even though it's not out til the 26th) and it automatically sent her the link once she paid via paypal. Luckily the file was a placeholder. Is there anyway to either

A: Manually control when the download link is sent or

B: Have it not send the download until the 26th.

In product description, set date product will be available.

I did. Didn't work. I want people to be able to buy it, but I don't want them to get it until that date. I think I fixed it by having the Paypal setting stay at pending.
