Default Did I do this the wrong way around?

Right, so for a heavyweight product such as a hoodie, I implemented an attribute named "heavyweight package" which automatically adds an additional shipping charge. And it works great!

But I was also planning to ship for free all orders over 70 Euros. This is where the problem lays - my added shipping charge for heavyweight products is now added and included in the the product's price (when you checkout) and gives false information on the actual value of the order. And there's also no way to take away that added shipping charge when the order is over 70 Euros.

I must have started doing this arse first. I'm running out of brain cells at this point... Any ideas how to do this properly?

Enter the product's weight in the product entry page, and configure shipping by weight. You should also be able to use the freeoptions module for free shipping over 70 euros.

I expect there are subtleties you can add to get the shipping to work in whatever particular way you want.
