Hi. I have been reading what seems like forever!

My question is simple: I have the latest version of ZC. Is there a way to simply turn off create an account and login and everything associated with it throughout the site?

I do not want customers to have to create an account to purchase during checkout. I understand that they will enter name, address, etc BUT I do not want them to create an account where they need a username and pw.

Can ZC do this yet? I read some older posts and am not sure where ZC is with this today. I looked for FEC in config but can't find it.

Not without an addon or modification.

Hi there. I just installed fast and easy checkout. I turned it on in Config. I am still asked to login or create an account when trying to make a purchase.

I do not want customers to have to create an account in order to place an order. I only need contact info and then they will pay by Paypal.

Is there a way to do this?

There is a checkout without account module.
But if you think about it, what is the difference between creating account and not? It's 1 single extra field: the password field.
