Renaming Page 2, 3 & 4 Trouble

I have followed the tutorials (242 I think) but things aren't working properly. When I go into includes/languages/english/page 2 (or 3 or 4) and change the NAVBAR_TITLE and HEADING_TITLE to what they need to be, it then displays NAVBAR_TITLE and HEADING_TITLE instead of the new name on the web page.

What am I missing??

How about the pair of single quotes around the name?

The holy grail on this is the about us module - there are about 8 edits/adds to make it all work

so what is my 1st step? I'm completely new to zencart!!

Thought I would try playing around with my own custom template but that isn't going so well - I have lost my header image now lol

get the about us module from the downloads/other section and install it and make notes of each item that you have to perform.

When you have this working then you should be proficient enough to follow your notes to change one that exists

I have already installed the about us so that should be simple enough and I just managed to get my header logo back! Watch this space for more questions! Thanks kobra!!

quick question - because these pages that I am dealing with are the pre-installed page 2, page 3 and page 4 - can I not just change the file names and all the info inside each file to the new names?
i.e. tpl_page_2_default.php becomes tpl_modern_cloth_nappy_faq_default.php
Every time page 2 is mentioned within this file I replace it with modern cloth nappy faq.

UPDATE:

I have got page 4 to behave correctly and is displaying the correct titles in the navbar title and heading title. All I did was change the details in the correct file and it worked. I then did the same for the other two pages and nothing.

Page 2 and Page 3 are still displaying
Home :: NAVBAR_TITLE
HEADING_TITLE

In their files they have the correct names but for some reason what ever files isn't picking up the correct information.

Can someone attach the original page 2 and page 3 files (and associated files) so I can start again?

On the home page of this site you can download several versions and you have to know which you have....

You should be using the override system so that the originals are never edited/changed...
