extra category sideboxes?

i would like to have a side box for several categories for example
sidebox 1 - for carparts
sidebox 2 - for beauty products
sidebox 3 - for computer parts

these arent what im going with but it gives you the idea i think(hope)

basically is there a way of having several side boxes to show seperate products

I would also be interested in learning this. From what i understand, built in, there can only be two category sideboxes, one for regular products, and one for music. Does anyone know a work around for having two category boxes for regular products?

There is a method described by Ajeh to use the document categories sidebox to hold a group of product categories. Search on "product restricted to document type" or similar terms.

If you want multiple groups of categories, Categories Dressing can let you make headings in as many places as you want in the categories sidebox to organize the categories.
