Radio box always defaults to Flatrate Shipping module

Hi, I replied to a thread earlier about a similar problem I am getting, however mine is slightly different as I do not offer digital downloads as the other guy so I thought I would make a new post to clarify my problem.

My problem is:

I have enabled the FlatRate shipping module amongst a few others, however the little radio box always defaults to FlatRate no matter what sort order I have them in. What must I change in the code in order to make either none of them selected by default or the top option to be selected by default.

I think I figured it out, what you need to do is:

1.) Remove all shipping modules.
2.) Install the module you want to be checked by default first.
3.) Now install all the other modules you want.

The first module you installed should be the one that stays checked by default.

This worked for me, let me know if you can't get it working and I will mess around with my ZC some more to find out exactly how I got it working correctly.
