layout problem

i disabled the side boxes but i want the "center box" there to be the width of the page where would i find that option?

If you set Configuration > Layout Settings > Column Left/Right Status - Global to off, the center column should expand by itself. If it doesn't, there is probably something in your template that is preventing it.
