Changing the URL of a page

In the past we have used fixed HTML pages and found that relevant urls to the prouct helped us acheive good free listing. When i was experimenting with other eccomerce active server pages we could change the url from
http://www.toplants.co.uk/catalog/in...dex&cPath=3_12 to something more logical that we think helped are listings example would be

http://www.toplants.co.uk/catalog/gas-barbecue.asp

Can this be acheived in Zencart?

But just so you know I have a fairly large shop in which we rank on the first page of google for several of our search terms so the whole "must have a normal english phrase" thing is not absolutely necessary. Google indexes zen cart just fine in my experience.
