SMS On Sale trouble

SWGUY Scott says on his module readme:

If you wish to be able to turn SMS messaging on and off from your admin panel, run the "config.sql" script against your database. The setting, which is called "Send SMS Message when a sale is made," is in Admin->Configuration->E-Mail Options.

For us neophytes, just how do you run the "config.sql" script against your database?

Any help is much appreciated.

open config.sql in a text editor like windows notepad.

Display admin-> tools-> install SQL patches.

Copy and paste the code from the text editor into the window* labeled "Enter the query to be executed:"

Click on the "SEND" button. It's done!

*DO NOT UPLOAD THE FILE INTO THIS WINDOW...COPY & PASTE IT! There have been many reported problems trying to execute SQL that has been uploaded here directly from the file. You should have no problems if you cut and paste... just be sure you select ALL of the code when you start.

Caveat: ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR SERVER FILES BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS! BE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR MYSQL DATABASE (on the server) AS WELL!
