Banner Links Not Working

If I put in a redirect link for a selected banner image in the banner layout section of the admin it does nothing. Bumps right back to homepage.

Any clue where the problem might be? Not sure where the logic for the banners is located but that is my next stop. Any help would be great.

OK this problem only exists when you are not logged into the system. So visitors can't use the banner links but if they login they work just fine. Where is the logic that restricts this?

ok, I am having the same problem, except it doesn't matter if the user is logged in or not.

Also, noted that the links worked when I had only 3 banners, now I have seven they have stopped working?
