Default Many http links in https pages

Looking at the links on my store's home page, most of the links are http not https.

The only two links with https are the stylesheet and the link to Log In. I understand the https is really only necessary in the login/checkout process, but I'm still curious about this. Even the link to the Store Home is http, so if they're in an https section and click that, they leave secure mode. I thought IE threw up a caution dialog about that but I just tested it and it didn't.

I assume this is intended operation? I think it would be nice if the https 'lock' showed up in the browser for all store pages (/store/) ... is there an easy way to make ZC use https for all links?

I'm also curious why the stylesheet is https when nothing else but Log In is?

Oh, should I link TO the store from my main page as http or https?

    THANKS!

you can do this by changing your includes/configure.php to use the httpd address for both defines, but this is way not necessary and can actually slow your site down,

OK, I'll leave that alone. I guess that means I should link to it as http. I'm still curious why the CSS is https though.

    Where? In the secure pages?

Anything that is "included" from an external source in a secured page should use https as (images, css, js, ....) otherwise certain browsers will throw some errors.

The links displayed on that page do NOT have to be https though, since they are just the text after all.

I'd thought it was at the Store Home page but just checked and it's not https there... I must have been on a secure page. Sorry!
