Default Export to excel using PHPMyAdmin?

    Hi everyone,

I am hoping that some of the more experienced zenners can tell me the best way to export information to an excel spreadsheet?

I'm not able to use quickbooks at this time due to the expense of buying it, so I am using excel to do my accounts.

So far, I have tried using the quickbooks export facility provided here (as excel opens .iif files) but there is not enough information taken from the customer database (such as credit limits etc.)

So what I think I need to do, is export information to excel using PhPMyAdmin (I could be wrong of course).

I'm not sure how to go about doing this though.

For instance, for my customers I need their name, billing address, contact details, credit limits, order history etc.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Sales Report mod from above url may help, or,
using phpmyadmin, is possible to download
.csv backup that can be opened in excel/open office.

    Thanks Misty,
Unfortunately, the extension is for version 1.36, and I am using 1.37.

I think that perhaps the PHPmyadmin route might be the one I am forced to go with. However, I just downloaded a back-up, but the formatting was pretty much useless - it contained everything with no relational qualities.

What I need in each spreadsheet is something like this:

    Customer Name / Cust_Addr1 / Cust_Addr2 / Credit_Limit ...etc.
John Brigs 123 Any Street 500
Susan Smith 345 Any Avenue 300
Peter Piper 567 Any Road 400

There seem to be a lot of extensions that can do this in OSCommerce, so I am quite surprised that there are none for Zencart? Strange.
