    bug [Done v1.3.9a] missing order

    I'm using version 1.3.8. I just had an order get lost. The order was placed and was payed for via PayPal. The PayPal payment went through but no order was logged. I had no idea an order was placed until the customer emailed me asking if it had shipped. The customer did not receive an email that the order was confirmed but did receive an email that the paypal payment was made. Has anyone experienced this problem? Or, know what is happening and how I can fix it?

    This is probably not a bug - if the customer doesn't return to your site after completing the PP portion of the checkout, the order doesn't complete on Zen Cart - Make sure you have the auto-return enabled.
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

    Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

    Hi not sure if this applies to me.

    But a customer send payment via echeque. The customers account has been made, and the payment has recently (5 days laters) cleared.

    I have payment, but no order??

    Also if i need to do auto-return...how / where do i do it?

    go to paypal:

    Setting Up Auto Return
    To set up Auto Return:
    1. Log in and click the Profile subtab under My Account.
    2. Click the Website Payment Preferences link under Selling Preferences.
    3. Click the On radio button to enable Auto Return.
    4. Enter the Return URL. Note: You must meet the Return URL requirements in order to set up Auto Return. Learn more about Return URL.

    Paypal also have maintenance on at the moment. I had an order go through the site, I rcvd the paypal notification of payment, but no zen order...until about 6hrs later when zen sent me the emails because it was waiting for the IPN to be sent back from paypal, which hadn't..until then.

    Hi, Auto is on, and the redirection is all ok.

    I belive the problem only occurs when a cusotmer sends a echeque???

    It has now been 5 days since the echeque has cleared and no sign of order???

    Where am i going wrong?

    i have the same issue, auto return is on but echeques still dont work!
